As much as we wish everyone was honest and straightforward, the sad truth is that there are very few people who generally merit our trust as rest of them actually turn out to be untrue and henceforth they don't deserve our trust. And when it comes to trusting the strangers, we tend to make a lot of assumptions based on shallow factors.
Well, to check the existing honesty in today's modern age, a YouTube user Johal conducted a social trial and pretended to be blind while approaching the strangers and asking them to check his winning lottery ticket.
Let's see what response he got!
He went to extreme lengths to test people's honesty in the face of monetary temptation.
Johal pretended to be a visually impaired person, donned glasses and carried a cane with himself in order to approach people living in both rich and poor area.
To tell him whether or not he had won some money.
Jag told the man that the ticket was given to him by his mother and added that it was a big winner but he wanted to confirm and so he has approached him.
The man tried to steal that ticket from Jag by saying that it wasn't any win and then tried to keep the ticket in his pocket saying he will dispose it off.
The man cursed down and threw the ticket on the ground. Jag repeated the same trial with other people of that wealthier region. But he lost hopes of humanity after seeing the reactions of people.
He played the same prank with a man and he got shocked to see a different result.
Jag was surprised to see an honest response from that homeless woman.
Jag on receiving such responses gave $10 to both the man and woman for their generosity and honesty.
