Having a smartphone is a great thing. After all, it's basically a small computer that allows you to play games, listen to music, check Facebook, read online messages, use the calculator, and take pictures. This is the reason that it feels a great loss when we realize that our phone has gotten wet. But how do you find the solution out in time?
In fact, it is one of the typical issues of smartphone owners.
Likewise, the value of your smartphone gets drastically lowered.
One of the phones that have this is the iPhone.
Even if your iPhone is just a 3G model, it already has indicators located in the headphone jack. Also, another indicator can be found on the housing where the dock is connected. The iPhone 5 has an indicator in the nano SIM card slot.
First, get a flashlight or even a magnifying glass. Next, use it to shed light into the jack.
Once this indicator has been activated and indicates liquid damage, the repair will no longer be covered by warranty.
Don't even let the moisture to be wiped into your smartphone.
Of course, never use a blow dryer. Instead, just blow using your mouth.
Always turn off the phone immediately if it gets wet. Don't even think of attaching it to another device.
If that phone won't turn on, then your battery is damaged. Also, you can try a new battery on your own phone. If that works and the old bat doesn't work, then that has been damaged.
Sometimes, you can still save your phone by taking out all the parts and keeping them dry. But there's also a good chance that your phone has been thoroughly damaged.
