For those who don't believe in miracles. This will make you have second thoughts.
A 10-year-old boy from Florida, Evan Olsen dearly missed his mother who didn't live with them.
His mom, Jamie Garlinghouse, had Schizophrenia because of which she did not live with her son and husband, Eddie Olsen.
Even though she lived separately, she had always been a part of their lives until one day when she went missing and after 9 months of looking for her everywhere, she was presumed dead.
But one fine morning...
He was watching a video posted by the YouTube Sensation, Brooke Roberts who was feeding the homeless in Los Angeles Skid Row.
While he was busy watching the video, he suddenly spotted his mother in it.
Evan quickly called his father, Eddie, who was in the shower and said that he found his mother!
"He hugged me tighter than he's ever hugged me in his life, and I could feel all the past days disappear."
Brooke initially thought it was a joke. But eventually he helped Eddie reunite his family.
When he found Jamie, she refused to go home with him. Her mental health had spiraled downwards because she was unable to take her medication. But Eddie wasn't going to let his son hanging.
With Brooke's help, Eddie and Evan managed to raise $7000 for Jamie's support and medical care.
The two flew to Florida to see Jamie and she finally agreed to come back home!
"Now that I've found my mom, I am the happiest kid alive!," says Evan. "She means the world to me- To the moon and back."
They'll talk on the phone and have a good cry about the impossible reunion of a son and a mother who everyone thought is no more.
Miracles don't often happen when you're expecting them; they happen in the most abrupt way that nobody can even imagine.
We are so glad for Eddie, Evan and Jamie to have reunited. All the love from across the world coming your way!
