A woman lost her baby in the womb and this how a cashier helped.
A woman named Jacinta Masters walked into Best & Less store in Australia. She wanted to return some special baby clothes that she had bought for the baby she was carrying. But at the register, Jacinta was told that she couldn't return the items because she did not have the card with her which she used at the time of purchasing. As soon as she was refused, she couldn't help but broke down into tears right there in front of the cashier.
Jacinta then explained that she didn't have the card and that she was on her way to the hospital for a heart-wrenching reason. She had to return the clothes back because she and Shayne's (Her husband) baby boy (Sammy) had passed away in the womb.
As soon as the cashier heard this, she ran to the store manager and who overrode the store policy for Jacinta and she received her full refund.
The incredible cashier and beautiful soul of a person, Jo, then asked Jacinta if she had a blanket to wrap Sammy up at the hospital- and that's where the story takes an incredible turn.
Jo became Jacinta's angel before heading to the hospital, doing any and everything to make sure Jacinta feels comfortable at her time in Best & Less store.
"This is an open letter to Jo, the beautiful lady who served me at Best and Less this morning.
You didn't know me. But I came into Best & Less this morning to return some special suits I brought for my baby I was carrying.
I was told that I couldn't return them because I didn't have the bank card with me that I used to purchase. And I broke down and explained I didn't have it, and I was on my way to hospital to be induced to have my baby who passed away, and I wanted them returned now because I don't want to see them or deal with them when I get home
And in the split second that I said that, I saw the sincerity in your face. You got your manager to override that policy to give me my refund.
You then asked me if I had a blanket to wrap him in, I didn't. It was one of the things I had to buy in the morning. You came and gave me a big hug and let me cry on your shoulder. You then took me to the blanket section and helped me pick out a blanket. Blue mink with white clouds on it.
It was perfect.
At the checkout, I tried to pay for it. But you turned my money away and covered it out of your own pocket. I cried some more. And told you, you are such an angel.
I was lost for words. I didn't know how to thank you!!
I cried all the way to the hospital. I sat out the front of the hospital for 15 mins, just crying and clutching my baby's blanket.
I don't know you, and sadly I don't even know your name.
But I want you to know how thankful I am to have met you and thankful for what you did for me and my little Sammy.
I just want you to know, it brought so much comfort cuddling his blanket through the contractions, and then wrapping him in it when he was born.
And I'll never EVER forget what you did for me and my baby.
You are truly an angel and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!"
Jo we applaud you for comforting and being there for Jacinta when she needed it the most!
Please share the amazing story with your friends and let them know that in this ruthless world, humanity still exists in people like Jo.
