Olympic runner, Tyson Gay's teenage daughter was shot and killed at a restaurant in Kentucky, this Sunday morning. Tyson took home a bronze medal in the 4x100m team relay at the Olympic Games in Rio.
But things did not remain as good as the Summer Olympics season for him. His daughter died and here is what all happened.
This 15-year-old is also an athlete. Like father, like daughter.
This shooting event occurred around 4:00 a.m. in the morning. Two cars were involved in the shootout and Trinity was not a passenger. She was shot in the neck. Later, in the hospital, she was declared dead at around 4:41 a.m.
He said, "She didn't make it. I'm so confused. She was just here last week for fall break. It's so crazy. I have no idea what happened."
The father and daughter together. An unbreakable bond.
The world is moved by this sudden shocking incident. And moaning the untimely death of the young girl.
