She was born in Nador, a small village in Morrocco, in 1977.  She herded sheep in her childhood. Her father was a construction worker. Later Najat and her family shifted to Amiens in 1982. The poor girl had very dreams and thoughts in her mind.

Najat, after studying hard for several years, graduated from Paris Institute of Political Studies in 2002. Maybe that was her first stepping stone towards her career. A lot more was waiting for her education.

Just like we have our dreams and plans to achieve it, similarly, this woman started working on her plan. The first thing she did by joining Socialist Party and having a fight for citizens' rights and against discrimination.

She always had a keen interest in politics. Despite, having an unsound financial position, she did not lose hope and then the moment of joy came for her. She was appointed as councilwoman till 2008.

It was time for Najat to experience the marriage effect. She got married to Boris Vallaud in 2005. But her career didn't stop there...

Najat started becoming the part of the spotlight. Everybody in the political industry started knowing her. Later when she was designated Council General of the Rhone department; nobody would have thought she would become the rising star of France.

She became an easy target for all regressive and racist comments.  Even now she gets attacked for her dressing style but she never quit and has learned to fight back.

The transformation from an innocent child with a luminous smile and slight hint of mischief in her eyes to a young Muslim minister, Incredible. We really salute her success.
