Prince George is arguably one of the cutest kids in the world. Not only is he quite playful, but he also has that royal charm befitting his privileged status. His smile is infectious and he has a bright outlook on the world. Prince William and Princess Catherine should be very proud of him.
However, have you ever wondered why Prince George always seems to be wearing shorts? Read on!
The world has since been enamoured by his cute appearance.
He looks completely adorable!
After all, wouldn't it be better for him to wear pants if it's cold outside?
Basically, the upper class in aristocratic societies back then would have their young boys in dresses. This was Prince William of Gloucester when he was just two years old.
This transition from dresses to shorts is called "breeching" and it was considered as an important stage of a boy's life.
Instead of wearing dresses, they were immediately wearing shorts instead. In fact, these boys would wear shorts until they reached the age of eight.
Well, this has something to do with the fact that the Royal Family and the upper class value tradition and rules.
If they wore pants at such young age, they would look like little men instead.
Of course, the Royal Family is not part of the suburban community. Thus, they would rather follow the tradition of the upper classes in the past.
