There are many terrible skin conditions that people suffer from. No doubt, the skin issues have proper treatments but a few skin diseases are so rare that their cause and treatment is still not known correctly.
A woman, Stephanie Turner was born with a very uncommon genetic skin condition. Her skin looked thick, red and cracked. Her chances to survive were very less but she proved everyone wrong and became the first mother with that condition.
In this rare condition, the skin forms cracks in it, with white flakes on the upper surface and then turns red and itchy.
As the newborn babies easily catch the bacteria that can lead to serious fatal infections. And Stephanie is the oldest woman in the US to suffer from this disease.
She was called a victim of burns by all.
Soon she got married and was expecting her first baby just after that.
But having a baby being in such a condition seemed highly dangerous for herself and the baby too.
They had never seen such case before so they didn't know what would happen.
She gave birth to another child. Stephanie with her husband Curtis and children Willy and Olivia.
