While many drugs are illegal for good reasons, they are also sought after by many people because of there capability of changing one's mood and perspective. In fact, some people are interested in how their creativity and way of thinking is radically changed due to various drugs.
Bryan Lewis Saunders wanted to see how his self-portraits would look like for each drug intake. While he only took 52 drugs, the total number of portraits here are actually 59 because each increase in dosage of the same drugs leads to observable differences.
