Winters are about to arrive. It is the time when we mostly prefer to stay in bed and have a cup of coffee every now and then. Winters have always been a bit awful than other seasons because it gets difficult to travel due to snowfall (in particular places). It is also the best season when even adults have a valid reason for not bathing. But here we bring to you some of the useful 'winter hacks' that will make you have one of the 'warmest' winters ever.
Take a look at these 14 winter hacks and stay active, stay safe. Happy winters fellas!
Sew an eye hook at the top of your winter coat and stay zipped. This will specifically protect your neck.
This looks really 'cool'.
Driving in winters causes fog on the windshield of your car. This makes the visibility poor. Thus, make a mixture of three parts of vinegar and one part water and then use it to de-ice your car.
Put your wet shoes over a vent upside down so that they may dry up in very less time.
Apply a bit of kitty litter under your car's tyres to provide it some extra traction so that it doesn't 'suffer' in the winters.
Thin glass panes can't help that much to keep you warm during winters. For this, mist the window with water for sometime and then apply the bubble wrap insulation.
It can let in all the warmth in your room and also costs you less.
After you have finished cooking, keep your oven open so that the remaining warmth can flow out in your room.
When you leave your blinds and curtains open on sunny winter days, you can help to keep your home warmer. Close them up during darker days to seal the warmth in.
Take a piece of cheap reflective foam insulation and put it in your radiator as the foam will bounce the radiator heat back in the house instead of letting it escape away.
This will make working with it easier.
Cover your wipers with socks so that they protect the plastic and it also keeps the ice off the surface.
To keep yourself warmer, add an extra sole to your shoes by making your own insoles. Take outline of the insoles of your boots and then use them to make your insoles.
Always carry a lighter with you during winters so that if the lock freezes, you can have an alternative.
Try these out for sure.
