Katie and Dalton Prager had a love story to be remembered. Both of them suffered from cystic fibrosis, a condition that affects nearly 30,000 Americans each year.
Katie and Dalton were known as the real life 'The Fault in Our Stars' couple and sadly, their love story too came to an end. Katie and Dalton died last week.
The couple died only days apart, but their story will still live on forever.
Their relationship was very similar to the characters in the movie, Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters.
They both suffered from cystic fibrosis.
Dalton had an infection and Katie was asked to stay away from him so that she wouldn't get sick. Katie and Dalton didn't care about the warnings because they wanted to be together.
Despite their health problems, both lived a few good years together and also got married.
The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary that day.
Even though they spent only 5 years together, it was way better than spending 20 long boring years with somebody else.
On September 22nd, Katie also left her body.
Katie had a wish to die peacefully in her home. She got her wish fulfilled and she was with her family, friends without any IV lines or tubes during her death.
Her death was because of the complications faced due to cystic fibrosis.
It would live in our hearts forever.
