In the midnight, when we normally have a peaceful sleep, these men entered the house at 3:43 A.M. on Friday. All the men were armed with guns and burst through the front door to accomplish their intentions.
After a few seconds in the video, there comes a woman in slippers and pyjamas, carrying her own handgun and spontaneously backfires at all three men.
The woman is a local restaurant manager and was staying in a housemate's home for some professional reasons, and so the house had been filled with supplies for her restaurant when the men made their way. But they very soon realised that they had made a huge mistake entering the house. The woman was continuously firing at them. In the image, she is shown emptying the clip of her gun.
As the men try to find a way to escape out, drywall debris is spotted to be flying around the house. One of the men tried to jump through a glass door to escape. The woman still continues to shoot out of the front door.
In the home invasion, two of the men are reported to escape while the third man, identified as Antonio Leeks, 28, from Atlanta was shot dead at the crime scene. His dead body was found in the driveway of the house by the police.
After this tragic incident took place and all three left the house, the woman finally took a sigh of relief and called 911 for help.
Cpl. Deon Washington along with the Gwinnett County Police Department told the media that whatever the woman did was totally appropriate, and this behavior is worth praising. He said that the video had been released in order to find the other two culprits as they did not wear anything on their faces, so it may be easier to track them down.
One of the suspects was wearing a WHI Baseball cap, dark colored pants, and sneakers. The other suspect can also be seen in the video.
Hats off to her courage.
