See how Amitabh's granddaughter reacted to his open letter.
You all might have read about the open letter recently penned down by the living legend, Amitabh Bachchan. The letter reads his thoughts and emotions regarding empowerment of an Indian woman. The veteran actor after getting inspired by his recent woman-centric flick 'Pink', wrote this letter to his granddaughter Naya Naveli Nanda (daughter of Shweta and Nikhil Nanda) and Aaradhya (daughter of Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan). Expressing his views about the way he wants them to lead their life and want them become courageous and brave. He is trying to convince them not to get nervous and influenced by the negativity coming from the society. He refused them to live in people's judgement. He was keen on- "never worry about- log kya kahenge." Navya was touched to hear this from his Grandfather. You surely give a miss to what Navya said about it.
Navya said- " Nanu, I will exactly follow this. I make sure that I will never fall prey to the injustice and negative approach of society towards women."
Along with Navya's reaction to the written piece, her mother Shweta, also came up with a positive reaction. Shweta in response to the open letter said- "I have been trying to teach Navya for so many years and just through one letter, you have conveyed what I wanted to for so many years."
According to the legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan, he asked his fans not to take this letter as a promotional activity for the movie 'Pink'. He said it to be very personal and close to his heart.
He also stated that he didn't just write it for his granddaughters but also kept the females of Indian Society in his mind. He wants to empower Women of India.
