Do you have a beard? If yes, you may proceed reading here. If not, Movember is right around the corner. I bet you don't want to miss having a No Shave November.
Beards are the ultimate form of makeup. Beards transform your face. They contour, highlight and give a delightful glance to the girls. Not just that, they can be twirled and twisted, oiled and cascaded down, gelled or even dyed. They love to feel the wind blow, and they give a shiver down a girl's spine. Beards have it all, all the privileges down their nape. Talk about Moses and Christ, Rabindranath Tagore or even Einstien; we still think of them as epitomes of masculinity and men. Not to forget, beards have done wonders to Leonardo DiCaprio and Gerard Butler too. Who knew success would follow them after their beards were a standout?
Let's not forget our beloved David Beckham who gives us significant boyfriend, sexy daddy goals. And senior Bachchan who makes us proud all the time. Thanks to cricket, Virat Kohli stands tall above all the rest, doesn't he? And let's not forget our desi Jatts who serve our best friends and to tell; they are just what a girl wants.
Okay, the list is endless.
But above all, it is the beard that stands tall among everything I just listed above.
BEARD has a pretty masculine and uneven history with a lot of appearances and disappearances. The 18th century was full of English men having a strong liking for clean shaven face while later the Victorian men took a liking for the beards. It was then that the handlebar moustache came into existence. The 80's again saw a series of a little swathe above the lip while the 90's were full of clean-shaven men again. The history of people is written on their face, and it pretty much sums up their entire existence.
Let's just make way for the various beard clubs that grace us with the most defined beards, setting trends all over the globe and the Movember aka No Shave November movement that has its set of rules, changing the face of masculinity to gorgeousness.
Beard hints revolt and freedom; it is the feeling of individuality and an attempt to seize everything even in the most chaotic times. And the only reason is the person who grows a beard and is blessed with one wild sheath on the upper lip.
