I once dated a guy who was fond of keeping a beard, grooming it excessively and even being obsessed with the definition of masculinity.
How does one embody it?
What exactly do you mean by it?
Is it possible to be a shot of whiskey with a sexy Harvey Specter tone or a body like Nick Bateman and mysterious like Chuck Bass?
I was just going through his phone once when I got "How to be an impeccably good looking man?" in his search history. He might be wondering how to steal their secrets and reap the rewards. And when I went ahead with the search on the subject, I saw Richard Gere, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Rock Hudson. You might have made it out of the names that they are from the early Hollywood, but these men still raid our dreams and give major inspiration. They are blessed with a hot bod, brooding looks, look classic handsome and possess a legendary style.
Time was when a man used to be scornfully rigid about their routine but now that there are a hundred products beaming in the market, making sales, men feel amused by the overwhelming advice's, opinions and expensive gunk sold in the market.
Truthfully, the definition has changed over the years. With the changing gender roles, definitions, and a men trying to fit into the correct image of being a husband, a father, and even a boyfriend, it is no surprise that they are having an identity crisis.
I wish to tell you one thing: Masculinity has nothing to do with a clear cut muscular body or the ability to be a stud who knows how to fix all of the kitchen or even you.
Honestly, if you are going through the virtual world searching answers for 'How to be a man?', you definitely need to go through these deeper issues that define a man, or the modern men. Not only for the men but also for the women who have dated guys or turned them down because they did not fit into their definition of being a man. You need to know what being a man in today's world is like.
No, that is not true. If you think a man is a gentleman, if he has a different poise about him, you are highly mistaken. It takes a lot but just a drink to be a man.
Ofcourse, he looks sexy.
A modern man knows how to fix all his problems on his own. He doesn't need you, of course, he'll need your love but No if you are trying being clingy.
They might fel down sometimes, but they will take no time to stand back up and conquer.
They worry about them and they care.
Unless, their apartment is all clean and tidy.
At least they will know how to cook you a dish or two if you are staying back at his place.
They might seem absurd and a busy bee, but know that they are working towards something, and that is what matters.
It is wonderful to find a man who knows all three. Isn't it?
You go men!
