"All these moments will be lost in time, just like tears in the rain" - Phil Grishayev.
Cinema is one of the primary source of entertainment for most of us, and we all have those particular films in our heart which we admire a lot. Sometimes we praise them by reciting their dialogues, singing the song, dubbing the scenes, meeting the stars and sometimes we just revisit those filming locations to feel the magic.
No matter how hard we try, certain places are hard for us to visit, because our busy schedules don't give us the privilege to do so. We the people, known as movie geeks, film buffs, cinephiles, and a film junkie are born with movies in our blood. And if someone else visits the places for us, we enjoy it like we've been there with them.
What if I tell you that there's one lucky guy out there who is doing all these things for you?
Phil Grishayev, a video producer from Los Angeles, California, visits at least one filming location in a week. Phil shares his pictures on Instagram saying, it's a gift for all the cinephiles. Let's see, what he has in store for us!
I'm jealous of this guy! He visited this old shooting location at the Paramount Pictures Studio and posing in a picture like Hollywood's Golden Age actress Audrey Hepburn. So much have changed since then, isn't it?
"Hey man, you just f****d up your Ferrari! - No, not mine"
Remember this famous dialogue from Nicholas Cage? Every movie geek loves it, and Traveller Phil seems to enjoy it more because he revisited this place to pose like Nicholas Cage. How he managed to do that? I am coming to LA, CA.
Phil, how can you not take me with you to this place?
This movie and the guy in the picture doesn't need any introduction. Paul Walker from the film The Fast and The Furious, released in 2001, this film made me fall in love with speed.
Filmed at Vasquez rocks, this is one of the best music videos of Rihanna and Justin Timberlake. Phil has left no stone unturned in his exploration of shooting location, sets, and sites. Can you ask for any better? I bet you can't!
We miss Michael Jackson for the way he changed the world with his different genre-based music videos, and this is one of those videos that changed the perception of the audience towards genre called the thriller. It is one of the most emotional moments for Phil; he said visiting this place was his dream.
Apart from replying to all the marriage proposals on Instagram and humbly living his life as a video producer, Phil always has some time for travelling and adventures. Even I'd miss this place to visit, but Phil is smart.
He stated, revisiting on the sets of The Pianist directed by Roman Polanski is a memorable moment of his life.
If you ask me one character that I want to live on screen, It'd be of Edward Norton from The Fight Club. Forget the character! Just take me to the place where this movie was shot! Please, Phil. are you listening? Yea ? Maybe next time around then.
Exploring vintage locations have now become a passion for Phil. In this picture, he tried to copy the great scientist that ever lived on earth, Albert Einstein, and his wife at their house.
Do you know why Phil decided to visit this place? The Terminator which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger was directed by James Cameron and had topped the box-office in the US for more than two weeks.
This movie established Arnold as an actor and gifted us the director James Cameron, who later went on to direct a movie like Titanic (1997).
This movie is close to my heart, as it is one of the first Hollywood movies that I watched. The Mask (1994) starring Jim Carrey. I salute Phil Grishayev for bringing back all the childhood memories for me.
The man with a purpose. Phil has already covered a lot of filming spots and he's still exploring some more. While you're reading this line, he is at some epic location trying to click his next picture right.
