iOS 10 features to help you big time!
Apple showcased iOS 10 features at the WWDC in June. Apple also announced the releasing date of iOS 10 at the iPhone 7 event. Today they rolled out the update to iPhone users. My friends just updated their iPhones and I am here to share the new useful features with you. It is true that we don't need all of those iOS 10 features but I will leave that decision up to you.
Many stock apps have been updated with new features and they are just amazing. So what is there for you?
Apple completely redesigned the Apple Music app. It has new bright colors, new options, and all the needed features are there on the single page. It will show you the song's lyrics below the song itself.
Apple modified the Control Center; now there are two UI's, one for the toggles and other for the new music control. New music also has the album art, audio controls and listening device selector.
However, they've also changed the corners to rounded corners.
For me, it is hard to check again and again for particular emojis in different situations. In iOS 10, it will show you advance suggestions which will help you to use the emojis. Take this example: if you type 'movie,' it will show you the movie emoji right there. Some of you won't like the new emoji update, but these new emojis are cool as ice.
Apple introduced the new Maps in iOS 10 with some impressive features. Maps app can predict your daily activities and make suggestions for you. So if you leave for office at 7 AM daily, it will add it as the daily task, and it will calculate all the details like traffic and time to your daily routine. This is quite similar to Google App.
It also supports the third party apps. Wait! Let me book an Uber for my trip.
Do you know that Siri interacts with over 2 billion people daily? To improve the Siri, Apple is continuously working. In iOS 10, you will find that Siri is way smarter now. Siri can perform specific commands with third party apps. Just try some commands and you are going to enjoy the simplicity.
This is the most changed stock app in iOS 10. With iClould Photo Library, you can see all your photos across all of your devices; even you can see map pictures.
Photos app is now smarter. It will automatically collect images to setup magazine like collage for you. Under 'people' section, iOS does the facial recognition process which helps you to sort the favourite family photos.
Check the memories titles, they will refresh your old trips.
There is a new raise to wake feature in iOS 10. One of the reasons why Apple added this feature is because the Touch ID fingerprint sensor is known for being fast and it "blows past" the notification screen. After you pick up your iPhone to wake it up, your notifications will be right there.
Apple enhanced the Lock Screen by making notifications interactive via 3D Touch. And the notifications appearing in the Lock Screen are now brighter.
Home is the app that is going to help you control your IOT at home and add your smart accessories. It also supports the Apple TV. You can access the accessories remotely and share them with trusted persons.
These are the some most common iOS 10 features that can help you in your daily life.
