Recently, an Imgur user shared another distinctive tale of love and tragedy. In his words, "My dad passed away on February 26th at the age of 51 from a ruptured artery. He made this workbench for my mom, Becca, when she got into metal engraving. He was technically my step dad, but being as how I've never met my biological father, he was the only and best father I had."
In the following months, a leg of the workbench suddenly broke and Mason's son had to take the legs off to get them repaired. And what followed surprised him, made him cry, gave him a sense of faith and got him to believe in destiny, all at the same time.
Love is the most sought after thing in this world. Afterall everything you do is either for your self-love or for your love for somebody(or something maybe?).
Now when it comes to love between two people, and I am here talking about the real thing, true love; it can be conveyed in innumerable ways, yet there's something devoted and intimate about letters.
In the process of getting the workbench fixed, when the son turned over the workbench, he found something scribbled on the lower side of it.
It turned out to be a lovely letter from his father to his mother. Apparently, he had written it before he departed.
In case you still didn't get it, here's what it says:
'I love you, Becca.
Whatever day this is, I hope it's a good one. God truly answered my prayers the day he gave me you. I know that these days are the best I'll ever have, and I'm glad you're in them.
I'm not sure if you'll ever see this, but if you do, just know that I love you very much. If there is one thing want in life, it is to be as good to you as you are to me. If I can do that, I'll be the happiest man alive.
I love you, beautiful wife.'
When his mom came to know about this, she was touched. In order to preserve the inscription, he decided to remove the two planks from the middle of the workbench to get it framed.
Somethings are just meant to be. Their son says, "I have never seen two people so much in love." He also adds that the family is holding up in the wake of his father's passing, and that they're lucky to have his faith to guide them.
Do share the story and spread the love. It's not every day that we come across people so much in love that they get to announce their love from beyond.
