The optical illusion is a phenomenon in which a simple image leaves a deceptive impression in your mind. You must have seen numerous brain-teasing images of optical illusion, but this one will surely hurt your brain.
This visual of optical illusion was shared by a game developer Will Kerslake on Twitter. The picture has intersecting gray lines on a white background and 12 black dots at the intersection points of the gray lines. I bet you won't be able to see all the twelve dots together in this picture.
Read on to know the reason.
I bet you can't see them together.
This type of illusion is known as Ninio's Extinction Illusion.
The dots keep blinking in and out of existence at the intersection point of the gray lines.
He tweeted: "There are twelve black dots at the intersections of this image. Your brain won't let you see them all at once."
The picture is going viral and has been shared more than 19,000 times.
You need to focus on the black dots for five minutes continuously. Then you'll notice that the black dots will always appear at the centre of your vision.
It is because humans have bad peripheral vision.
Thus, you're unable to see the black dots together.
