1. Do not wax or shave before having a bath

1. Do not wax or shave before having a bath

Waxing or shaving before a bath increases the size of the pores on the skin. This leads to a dry and dull skin. Thus, if you want to have a shave or wax, prefer it after a bath.

2. Do not scrub too much

2. Do not scrub too much

Girls often have a belief that if they scrub too much on the face, they would get fairer soon, but this is an illusion. Scrubbing too much leads to the removal of the top layer of the skin and this tends to skin infection as well.

3. Leaving the body scrubber after use

3. Leaving the body scrubber after use

After bathing, we leave the body scrubber unhandled in the washroom. Due to this, bacteria find their room and foster in it. When such a scrubber is used again, it causes an itching sensation in the body.

4. Using towel for too long

4. Using towel for too long

When you use a towel to clean your body and hair, remember not to use it for too long. This makes the skin dry and may also lead to excess hairfall.

5. Excessive use of soap

5. Excessive use of soap

Soap has a tendency to absorb the dirt and oil present on the body and water washes it away. But an excess of anything is harmful, be it of soap. Minimize soaping to only the oily parts of the body and also those parts where odor is obvious like the armpits, buttocks, groin, feet and face.

6. Use of deodorants or anti-bacterial soaps

6. Use of deodorants or anti-bacterial soaps

We all usually prefer a deodorant after having a bath but this should also be avoided. The strong aroma and ingredients of the deodorants extract moisture out of your skin which leads to itching, flakiness, and dry skin. Your skin may age prematurely!

7. Bathing immediately after exercise

7. Bathing immediately after exercise

Many people have the habit of bathing after exercising. It makes you feel refreshed after all. Exercising makes the body warm and if we bath soon after we exert, we may suffer from cold, cough and fever very often. Prefer a bath after at least one hour of exercising.

8. Waiting for too long after applying a moisturizer

8. Waiting for too long after applying a moisturizer

Waiting too long after the shower to moisturize allows your skin to lose precious moisture to the air. Do not wait for longer than three minutes after applying a moisturizer because if the skin gets dry and cracks, bacterias may always find their way.

9. Avoiding the use of conditioner after shampoo

9. Avoiding the use of conditioner after shampoo

Very few people use a conditioner after they shampoo. This must not be followed because you and your skin age with time, so do your hair. Applying conditioner after shampoo prevents the hair from getting dry and increases the hair length. It also makes your hair retain the hair protein.

So from now mind these points when you have a bath.
