It's time for celebration for the WWE star Roman Reigns. His in-ring performances have been commendable despite the ups and downs he faced during this year. The PWI's Annual Top 500 List is in its 26th year, and the latest rankings revealed Roman rising from the fourth position last year to the top spot followed by Finn Balor and AJ Styles who ranked third and fourth.
He was judged on the period from July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2016. Roman held the title on three occasions, defeating Alberto Del Rio and Dean Ambrose at Survivor Series, winning the title back from the Irishman and then losing it and his Wrestlemania win over Triple H. Not only this, he had wins over Brock Lesnar and Ambrose at Fastlane, finally defeating AJ Styles.
The year 2016 has been a complete rollercoaster for the WWE star Roman Reigns.
The title win over Triple H and battles with AJ Styles were some of the highs.
His in-ring battle performances have been fabulous and haven't gone unnoticed.
PWI revealed their Top 500 Annual list. Roman's ranking is unbelievable.
Speaking to PWI senior writer Dan Murphy, he said, "Thank you, man. It's crazy. Last year, was I what, three or four? To just remain in that same company, to be in that class with those guys, it's world class," he said. "It's a great honor and it goes with a lot of hard work. It's very flattering. It just shows that if you keep your head down and stick to your day-to-day, you grind it out and take the long road, good things happen. It's a great achievement and another great accolade."
Roman the ultimate winner.
