This week's big release- Freaky Ali has finally hit the theatres today and that too with a big bang. It introduced Nawazuddin Siddiqui as an underwear seller who aspires to give his "Aai" a comfortable life. After turning into an extortionist, he considers it his "this is it" moment when his life will unravel into a spiral of money.
However, luck had other pre-decided plans for him. Soon, he emerges as a professional hockey player taking over the gaming arena with his quirky one-liners and impressive talent. The movie will take you on an adventurous ride that goes up and up.

Nawazuddin steals the show with his charming persona and impenetrable one-liners. You will fall in love with him immediately as soon as he opens his mouth and chirpy words flow out of his mouth in a train of wit. Nawazuddin manages to charm the audience with his impeccable acting skills.
Hailing from a small basti, Ali never imagined himself as a professional golfer. After he was fired for being a lousy underwear seller, he tries his hand at extortion. He plays out to be pretty good at it (at times) but then his life changed completely as he is pushed into the world of golf.
Amy Jackson wows the audience with her beauty and gorgeous smile. However, the screentime she shares with Nawaz is not much but she manages to make an impact in whatever space she shares with the highly acclaimed star.
Arbaaz Khan plays the role of Nawaz's friend Maqsood who has a dark influence on Ali (according to Aai). This is one of the best performances by the actor of his career. Then, there are Asif Basra, Seema Biswas and Jas Arora who played their roles with full potential.
From the rags to the riches, golf turned Ali's life upside down, putting him in the limelight for all the right reasons. It is definitely not what you see every day and this is the main reason you should give this movie a go.
Having contrasting personalities and belonging to the different worlds, something in between the two protagonists seemed to click since the very beginning. They romance each other in the most non-cliche way.
As the movie ends, I felt a wave of gratitude for Nawaz as he showcased his amazing acting talent to the entire world in such a way. I will give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars and advice you guys to hit the theatres as soon as possible.
