An engineering student left everyone astonished after this video which unfortunately was her last one. Although it is a very disturbing video but it has a very strong message which the society needs to hear and understand. It is high time that parents realise that pushing their kids into things they don't want to pursue is not parenthood. Understanding your child's interest and strengths and supporting them in their highs and lows is true parenthood. This video is a big shout out to all the parents who are intentionally or unintentionally burdening their children.
This young engineering student made a video for her parents while she was about to commit suicide. She was pushed into engineering against her interest. She unluckily had no one who could understand or listen to her.
She loved to paint, she tried telling this to her parents but they thought that painting was not worth being pursued as a career. So she decided to end her life with this very heart touching video. Everyone can relate to this video because it speaks the story of a youth's career wishes versus their career reality. It has happened to all of us at some time or the other.
Ultimately she hanged herself to death in front of the camera, leaving her parents in despair forever. It's really important for parents to understand that sometimes their expectations and wishes burden their child so much that committing suicide looks like an easier path to end their problems.
90% of the people who commit suicide can be saved by proper psychiatric treatment and counselling. Our society needs to again focus on what is important for their children- is it earning a safe and secure lifestyle or their true happiness?
Are they brave or coward? Can we really tell? To judge them is easy, what is difficult is to understand their mental state and help them. But dear parents, your support is the biggest strength of your children. Please make sure you never over burden them with your expectations. Just stand by them in their hard times. That is all they need from you. Make sure you are there!
Every year over 1,00,000 people commit suicide in India, out of this more than 50% is India's youth. These statistics are very disturbing and need immediate attention. Every student needs to know that there is help around them. Counselling is always an option. Ending your life will not end the pain, it will only pass on to your parents. Please go to counsellors and share your problems.
The end of the video leaves you heart wrecked.

It was an act of fiction. But the reality is nothing very different. It was a very powerful message, given impactfully!
