This year before the ten-day festival of Lord Ganesha begins, the government of India requested everyone for worshiping an eco-friendly idol of Ganesha and immerse it in the water at home itself. But, seems like the request went inconsiderable and most of the people followed the same old way of celebrating the festival which eventually contributes a lot to pollution and affecting lives of thousands of water-animals.
But then, we see a famous person understanding the need of the environment and creating an eco-friendly idol of Ganpati Bappa. The Bollywood star Riteish Deshmukh gave clay soil the shape of adorable little Ganesha.
He also shares the video and with that takes on the responsibility of celebrating the fest without affecting the environment, and this is what he motivates us for.
