Lindsey Cartwright and her husband went on the holiday of a lifetime for 10 days at an Egyptian resort. But that was the last together trip. Her husband ran off with a hot teen; they met by the pool on their dream holiday in Egypt.
"We were so excited before we went - we couldn't wait to spend time together!" Lindsey added.
"We were so excited before we set off for the five-star resort in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, in October 2012. We couldn't wait to spend time together. The day after we arrived we made friends with Sophie Cartledge and her male friend. I thought she seemed lovely." - Lindsey said.
Gareth was twice of her age at that time & he struck up a flirtatious kind of relationship with her. Lindsey says: "We would mess around by the pool together and enjoy meals in the evening. But at the end of our holiday, I discovered Gareth had been texting and phoning Sophie since the second day of the holiday - I was devastated. We had a blazing row and Gareth tried to claim they were just friends."
"We'd both gone to such an effort for that holiday, but instead of enjoying a romantic time with his wife, Gareth was eyeing up another woman and moved in with her before my tan had even faded."
"But less than a month after we got back he'd dumped me, moved out and shacked up with Sophie Cartledge, the teenage girl we'd befriended on holiday."
Lindsey (36) and Gareth (41) set off on their dream trip to the 5-star Red Sea Resort of Sharm El Sheik in October 2012, to enjoy some time together.
Lindsey found that he had been texting Sophie from the second day of their stay at the hotel.
"I thought she was a lovely girl - obviously so did Gareth," says Lindsey. "They seemed to hit it off but she was so young I didn't think for a second she was any threat to my marriage. We'd lark around by the pool and enjoy meals and karaoke nights. But then everything changed."
"I thought it was for life but now he and Sophie live together, and I'm planning to divorce and move on with my life." - she added.
