Meet Ramawwa, the 18-year-old girl who has not consumed anything else except Parle-G biscuits.
From Talakantal village.
Hailing from Talakatnal village in Gokak Taluk, Ramawwa is the daughter of Yallappa and Yellawwa Guddadinni. She has twin brothers.
It is said that Ramawwa's mother did not breastfeed them but
served Parle-G biscuits along with cow milk.
The girl has Parle-G biscuits throughout the day and
refuses to eat any other food items.
She does not eat anything else; All she wants
is 4-5 Parle-G biscuits at a time.
Ramawwa consumes six to seven packets a day and is extremely
anxious about the biscuits going out of stock.
Doctors failed to look after her, as she is not only ready
to consume any other food or adapt to other biscuits.
It was observed that due to lack of nutrients, Ramawwa
looks like a 10-12-year-old girl.
It is said that Ramawwa thinks that eating normal food will spoil
According to experts, Ramawwa needs medical help so that she starts eating food other than Parle-G biscuits.
However, the Ramawwa's parents are agricultural workers who
cannot afford to pay for her medical treatments.
