Samsung recently launched Galaxy Note 7 with USB-C and more design improvements. Now, Galaxy S8 started creating the Hype amongst tech lovers because of the Dual cameras combination after a leaker posted the new rumored Galaxy device on Weibo. Galaxy S8 might feature two cameras with f/2.0 and f/2.3 apertures. Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a 4K display which they will introduce in early 2017. It is still a leak and not yet confirmed by the officials but we can expect a new Galaxy device at Mobile World Congress next year.
It may feature a 5.2/5.5 inches Super AMOLED 4K Display. Pixel density is supposed to be higher than 800ppi. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. According to rumors, It will come in two variants; Snapdragon and Exynos. It may come with Snapdragon 830 and an upgraded Exynos processor. The Galaxy S8 will include the Exynos 8890 64-bit octa-core (2.3GHz quad-core + 1.6GHz quad-core) processor coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. It will support the LTE cat nine 4G. A 3,500mAh powerful battery will power this device. It will run Android 7 Nougat out of the box.
As for Connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct. It also supports the latest Bluetooth v4.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and NFC. Sadly, there is no radio for S8. Galaxy S8 will support USB 3.1 with Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. So, Samsung is not coming up with the USB-C. Samsung also launched It's first USB-C device, i.e., Galaxy Note 7.
Galaxy S6 in left and Galaxy S7 in right. Samsung upgraded the camera in S7 with some quality improvements. We can expect the same for the Galaxy S8.
Dual 12 MP rear cameras and an 8MP Front camera with 2K Support. However, cameras will be provided by Samsung itself and Sony according to leaks. (Rumours)
It will support the Iris scanner. Yes, Samsung will introduce the next level of Security in Galaxy S8 also. Apart of this, It will support a fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate, SpO2. Fast Charging and liquid cooling technology will counter the heating issues. Overall we can consider that Samsung will come up with the Perfect competition for the Apple's iPhone 7 later next year.
