I know it is contrary to the common advice that we get when our phone gets wet. But, using a hair dryer could push the moisture inwards towards the crevices and ultimately it could reach to the electrical components which are present deep inside your phone.
It is advicable to use desiccants as they can absorb the moisture better than rice.
