Selfies are a rage now and we see people taking snaps every now and then. People have become so much addicted to it that some of them have taken selfies at funerals as well. But the question is from where did this trend start? Ever thought which were the first selfies that were taken? No? Well, I am here to take you back to the 19th century from where it all started.

This was the first selfie taken by Robert Cornelius in the year 1839 by using the process of Daguerreotype.
