It's all about empowerment.
Getting cancer diagnosis can break the most strong-willed person. You have to have something to keep you going right to the very end. When breast cancer struck 37-year-old Alison Habbal, she knew very well that she is going to lose her nipple along with her hair.
The inevitable happened, as she was nipple-less post lumpectomy. But as she wasn't looking forward to plastic surgery, she got a tattoo on her breast instead.
Best part? People are loving every bit of it.

"Because there's no nipple, I can blast it everywhere all over Facebook and Instagram, and they can't censor it, which I think is really funny," Alison told the BBC.
...as it was nothing short of 'blood-curdling horrific'.
"Alison was pretty clear about the idea that she had and what she wanted it to look like, but she also gave me a bit of freedom. It's quite humbling, and it puts a lot of things into perspective. That made it really cool to be able to do for her."
She says that she is very relieved after receiving her cancer results.
