Have you ever heard about the wonderful sacrifices made by our parents just to support our dreams? That's what our badminton champ, P.V. Sindhu's father did for her and look at her now!
He gave up work for 8 months so that he could assist her in the training of the Rio Olympics and her performance is definitely top notch!
Her parents have been her major support system and they have been there for her throughout her journey.
It takes years and years of determination and hard work but the podium can only fit 3 pairs of feet.
But there are have a lot of discussions held on the fact about Indians finishing fourth but not winning even the bronze.
But after a while, nobody really remembers the fourth position as opposed to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
One of the reasons for India's fail in the Olympics is probably given to the fact that an average Indian parent would never prefer their kids making sports as their profession. This is the reason why these women athletes who push their bodies to the extremes don't earn medals.
Her parents and family have been a great support system for her throughout her training and her journey to the Olympics.
He took an 8-month holiday from his work to assist his daughter. He would drive his daughter every morning at 4 am for her training sessions.
Her mother has been proud of her no matter how much she progresses or how far she goes.
Congratulations to all these talented and hard working female athletes who have made the nation very proud!
