This Is Why PV Sindhu Is Still Our Golden Girl And We Love Her

It's been days that we have seen Rio 2016 going crazy over PV Sindhu and her unbeatable performance when today she became the youngest Indian woman to win a Silver medal in the championship. She did settle for a silver but she will always stay as the golden girl of our heart.

While Marin clinches Gold, we are proud that our 21-year-old Sindhu got her hands on the silver medal and we certainly love you for your passion and zeal playing beautifully at the net.

It was way past 9 when the social networking sites started buzzing with a lot of PV Sindhu hashtags and, retweets that I decided to go for giving this story a try. It brings me immense pleasure to show my love for the passion she showed while giving a tough fight against world's number one.

The Indian should be proud of her performance as she was outplayed by the world champion.

Here are some of the tweets that proved that she is loved to the core and is a champion.

It's like we are celebrating the Olympics' Rio 2016 opening ceremony again.

Let's start with what Paresh Rawal wanted to portray. Yes, he is right. India won both the medals together.

How can we forget what Sunil Shetty said. He is absolutely right by saying that she will always stay our silver lining with a brighter than gold performance.

While the CM of MP announces a cash prize worth Rs. 50 lakh to the player. You go girl!

And Narendra Modi seems pretty happy with the epic fight she gave.

True that! The nation should and will celebrate.

Let's not forget our dear celebrities who were watching the match with us.

A player to another player. That seems like a hearty greeting.

From an ace singer to an ace shuttler. Kudos to girl power.

Never underestimate the power of women. Well said Bachchan sir.

Shibha De might have got an answer by now. #sindhuforgold #PVSindhu
