He got home one day from work and sought of talking to his wife about something she knew nothing of. He sat at the dinner table while his beautiful wife served him dinner and was happy that he got back home.
He had a sudden urge in his mind; he wanted to tell her that he needed a divorce. He asked her to sit while he tells her something. She looked stunned. He raised the topic silently to which she answered softly, why?
The husband avoided her question, to which she responded by throwing away the chopsticks and shouted saying you are not a man. It was a night they did not talk to each other and slept in different rooms. She was weeping, and he could hear her from the other room. Of course, she was worried what happened to their marriage.
But she didn't know that I was in love with Jane. I pitied her.
With a profound sense of guilt, he filed the divorce and showed her the papers where it was mentioned that she could have our house, our car, and even 30% stakes in my company. She glanced at it and tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of our marriage was now a stranger to me because I loved Jane dearly. She broke down into tears and that was something that made my decisions even clear. I felt relieved.
But later when it was the notice period, I realized something and that was painful.
