Are you tired of spending hours reading books and looking at the same old boring library interiors?
Florian Heinzelmann, an architect along with his design team in Netherlands decided to give a gift to a village that people wouldn't forget for years.
And that gift is a library, a communal place but with a twist- the entire library is made from plastic ice-cream cups and the library looks beautiful inside-out!
Have a look at the innovative design:
When read in binary, the ice-cream buckets read: "Books are the windows to the outside world."
"Besides reducing waste, using recycled materials fosters awareness of Indonesia's growing amount of plastic waste, which has been clogging waterways and beaches in recent years," said Florian.
That's what innovation is all about! Share the story with your friends.
