Santo Condorelli is a 21-year-old Olympic swimmer who is in the news for the wrong reasons. Well, not wrong for him and his family, but due to his rituals before every race, some delicate eyes are getting offended.
Apparently, young Santo isn't a bad kid but he's got the habit of flashing his father the middle finger before every race. We didn't know the reason until now, so let's take a look.
This young Portland native set two swimming records in 2015.
He just casually flips just before every race.
As a kid, he was smaller than rest of the kids of his age so he would feel very intimidated. Every time he would go for a race, he would be very scared. Hence, this ritual started.
Since his kid was really scared, his father thought the best way to get over his fears was to assume nobody was around.
Even after being one of the top swimmers, the tradition still continues.
He doesn't mean to offend, but this is just a good luck ritual with his father before every race.
