It has been 3 years since Chennai Express was released. The film made under the direction of Rohit Shetty was released on 9 August 2013. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika starrer Chennai Express was made under a budget of 115 crores, made 227 at the Box Office. Fans don't miss it when it telecasted on TV even today. We bet even those die hard fans of Shah Rukh Khan would not be able to spot any mistake if they are made to watch the movie again.
Here are some mistakes in the movie that are really funny.
In the first scene where Shah Rukh Khan holds Deepika captive, we can see some ladies standing beside them, in the next scene, they vanish like anything, surprisingly in the third scene, Meenamma's dad and Tangabali take the place of the ladies.
In this particular scene, Meenamma tells Rahul that Tangabali is preparing for a fight but all of a sudden an item number starts.
While leaving home Rahul takes his grandfather's ashes with him. Then at the Railway Station, his grandmother comes give him the ashes.
Meenamma comes to Mumbai running from her father. Although she boards the train that is heading to her village. In that particular scene, no one follows her, but out of nowhere the thugs run after her. Interestingly, Rahul helps Deepika and the thugs board the train.
Despite hitting the ground when the phone is thrown from the train, it neither cracks nor gets any scratch.
Rahul travels whole time in Sleeper class but comes out of General after reaching the destination.
Rahul plans to visit Goa on his vacation and so they had to deboard at Kalyan station. That means they were heating to Kalyan but Rahul showed Ticket for Chennai to TC. Why is that?
When Rahul is right outside the temple he has a little amount of sweat on his face. But when he gets inside the temple his face sweats heavily.
When Meenamma reaches the village, it seems logical for her to be received by her father and his companions but what shocks is that the whole village is gathered to receive her.
Initially, when Rahul is watching a Cricket match with his grandfather, the colour of the ball changes from White to Blue after it's hit.
Rahul's grandfather was watching Sachin's ODI in 2013 in this particular scene but Sachin retired in 2012.
