Pokemon Go has its own pros and cons. Pros are like, it cherishes the dream of catching Pokemon in real life; you can lose weight. And cons be like, it is quite detrimental to life; it's a sheer waste of time and much more.
Every game has a cheat sheet. Here, I found one for you, if you play Pokemon Go.
Thank me later.
If you see a Pokemon with no footprints on 'Nearby' list, you can summon it by tapping on the screen. It will pop up on its own.
The teams are based on the three legendary birds:
1. Instinct (Zapdos) focuses on hatching eggs.
2. Mystic (Articuno) focuses on evolving Pokemon.
3. Valor (Montres) focuses on battles.
During the battle, you can swipe left and right to tackle the opponent.
Ownership of a gym depends on the 'prestige' meter, which decreases as you defeat their Pokemon in the battle.
You have 6 Pokemon to beat the gym with. 6 mediocre Pokemon can kill 1 strong Pokemon.
You can even change the name of your Pokemon! And the best part is that there's no language filter.
Evolution heals and revives Pokemon. Don't waste your heals and potions.
It is better to power up your Pokemon after they are fully evolved. It will give you more Combat Power (CP).
Assign your Pokemon to gym because this will increase your XP. The more Pokemon you add in the gym, better your XP will be. Keep checking in every 20 hours to receive more.
When you are at a Pokestop and click the X 'quit' button, any requisite items will be automatically added to the inventory.
PS: Don't Pokemon Go and drive!
The rustling of grass doesn't mean that Pokemon will be found there. It means anything can pop up if you hang out at that spot long enough.
The 'game world' has been developed by the app itself. So, the rivers are rivers and the lands are lands. You can experiment if you want to find it in real life.
Some Pokemon only come out at night.
Some Pokemon can only be available in certain regions of the world. In order to catch 'em all, you'll literally have to travel the world.
The server crashes often. If the app forced you to reopen it, just don't. Wait for a few moments, it will restart automatically. If you restart, you'll keep getting kicked out of the battle.
In the beginning, you'll confront basic Pokemon (Zubats, Pidgeys, Drowzees, etc). As you'' gain more level, you'll come across many Pokemon with higher CPs and rare Pokemon, too.
Colors denote the level of difficulty to catch the Pokemon. Green rings signify an easy catch, yellow one a little harder then comes orange and then red.
While trying to incubate Pokemon eggs, you may have to walk a distance of approximately 2-5 km.
Better prefer walking than driving. The phone's pedometer and GPS will track how much have you walked etc.
