It's been 47 years since fire-fighter, David Van Buren has been taking care of his pet alligator named Gwendolyn. He stays in Florida and the wildlife officials out there have been raising questions regarding the danger posed by this alligator to the people in the society.
David has been taking care of his pet alligator since he was a little boy and it has been living in his garden pool. David promises that the alligator isn't a threat to anyone and there is no danger if the creature stays in his garden.

But authorties wanted to make sure.
His favorite treats include cookies and pizza.
But David disagreed. He tried to convince them that Gwendolyn wasn't dangerous and he could safely stay in David's garden.
Florida wildlife officials say that Gwendolyn is used to staying with David and it would be best if he stayed with him.
David gladly made the changes as he was happy to get his pet alligator back.
