Animals are beautiful living beings and deserve to be treated well. Their habitat needs to be preserved just like our homes and over the years poaching activities have increased to a dangerous extent.
Animals are being poached for their skin, meat, horns, eggs, etc. Skin being the most common of all is being used for making belts,purses,coats, and even as luxury home decor. Governments of various countries and countless NGOs are working for welfare of animals.
PETA is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 3 million members and supporters working on variety of animal right issues, protesting the inhumane destruction of our fauna.

Tiger poaching in India has a serious impact on the probability of survival of tigers. About 3,000 wild tigers survived compared with 1,00,000 at the turn of the 20th century.
They are being poached across India and their entire range, mostly for their bones and their magnificent skin.The bones are smuggled almost exclusively to China, used in tiger bone wine, a pricey traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) tonic. Tiger skins are used as high end luxury decor.
