There have been many speculations regarding the usage of contraceptives while having sexual intercourse. The safest and easiest method would be using a condom, but as it turns out, some women don't like to use it. They would rather prefer the hormonal method of contraception or in fact, even the female diaphragm method would be suitable.
But why not the condom? If it's the safest, easiest and cheaply available method of contraception, why don't women like it?
Let's find out.
Since it proves to be a barrier between the penis and the vagina, it reduces the pleasurable feeling during sex because there is no skin to skin contact.
Since there are various flavors available for condoms, women don't like the smell that they come with.
Condoms are not entirely safe and they don't offer 100% protection. Hence, women feel they're slightly unreliable.
Although condoms can protect against genitally transmitted diseases like AIDS and some STDs, it doesn't protect against diseases like herpes or warts.
Condoms are made from latex and many people suffer from latex allergy. It produces symptoms like redness, itching, burning of the skin, or even eczema-like reactions.
Some women have said that waiting for a few minutes in the middle of sex to put a condom on ruins the mood at that time.
Every time that you plan to have sex, you have to remember to carry condoms with you. Without any condoms, sex won't be possible if you aren't relying on any other method of contraception.
