WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD!
Mr. Robot Season 1 ended with a lot of questions unanswered. However, we were one step ahead of Elliot as we knew who Mr. Robot actually was. Remember, when he started the series with "Hello Friend," trusting us as his confidante? Let's find out more about what happened in the latest episode in a nutshell.
P.S.: This episode was leaked by the show owners themselves, in order to justify the inevitability of piracy. Read more about the leak here.
As we all know, Elliot is schizophrenic. He sees an image of his father (Christian Slater) who speaks to him all the time. The episode begins with Elliot talking to his therapist about how a typical mundane life is; he lives with his mother, deprived of all the Internet services, etc., began journalizing his life events according to the time. He jots down everything what the illusion of his father actually does, he even shoots Elliot in the head, which he jotted down in his journal as...
He shot me in the head, again!(continued...)
Control is an illusion...
This is what his father said to him. Elliot jots this down in his journal too.
As he is anti-social, he prefers listening rather than speaking, and just speaks to himself all the time, playing random things in his head. He meets just one person in particular at a restaurant. He eats breakfast, dinner, etc. with him.
Rami Malik plays the role of Elliot, and it's sensational.
In season one, there was a revelation that Darlene is Elliot's sister. Now, she has taken over the society and is not contented with the victory of taking down the big corporate called E-Corp. But Gideon (Michel Gill), Elliot's former boss suffered the most in the aftermath of the hack.
Tyrell Wellick's disappearance was one of the biggest mysteries. His role turned out to be splendid in the last season. Let's see what does he has in his book this season.
Angela is being seduced by her new job at E-Corps, questioning herself over her decision to keep working there.
This episode was dark, twisted and sly enough to create a substantial amount of suspense to thrill the audience. Every character portrayed their best. Nonetheless, there are still a lot of questions left to be answered, which I hope which quench the thirst of knowing the mystery quite soon.
My rating: 4.5 stars out of 5, which signifies that the episode was pretty good.
Personally, I loved it!
