"A clean place makes a happy space."
Japanese are very strict about their traditions and for a good reason. They are known for their cleanliness and certain calmness that emits from their house. They by nature are simple beings who believe in keeping only necessary items in their homes. You will find that traditional Japanese houses don't have much furniture. They mostly prefer to do their work on the floor. There are not many decorations either but something about a clean, organised space is beautiful on its own.
Photographer Thomas Peter captured the simplicity of a traditional Japanese home in these pictures.
