The Maasai are generally considered as cattle herders of Africa. Though due to many changes cattle raising activity has been reduced but Maasai still continue to take it as a source of their livelihood. They are based mostly in the region of East Africa bestriding Kenya-Tanzania border. There is more than 150,000 population in Maasai.
There is one more thing that you must not know about these Maasai people and that is about their eating habits. Yes, the weirdest thing about them is they drink the blood of animals.

They are fierce, handsome and elegantly tall people. Traditionally Maasai men and women wear capes also called Shuka. Women wear these capes around their shoulders or around their waists.
And these are- meat, blood, milk, fat, honey and tree bark. They drink milk for 10 days and then switch to meat and bark soup for several days.
