When Kinsey Ratzman came out to her parents about her sexuality, she wouldn't know how they'd react. She was 17 and lived in New Jersey, but around the 4th of July weekend, she decided, to be honest with her parents about her sexuality and orientation.
Her parents asked her cousin to take her to the mall and got busy preparing for a pride party. They also baked her a rainbow cake and everything was pride-themed. Turns out, Kinsey's coming out in front of her parents was the best experience ever.
Check out her story here.
