Margot Robbie, the 'awesome-Aussie', recently hit the beach for a sizzling shoot for Vanity Fair at Grand Cul de Sac lagoon at St. Barth's. Margot Robbie is the new black (FYI, her name is pronounced as 'Margo', not 'Margot') as she is starring in two blockbuster flicks: The Legend of Tarzan & Suicide Squad. After playing Leo's wife in The Wolf of the Wall Street, as the Duchess of Bay Ridge, this Daddy's Lil Monster (Harley Quinn) is all set to flame up the box office this season.
"She loves causing mayhem and destruction. She's incredibly devoted to the Joker. They have a dysfunctional relationship, but she loves him anyway. She used to be a gymnast-that's her skill set when fighting."
"There's a thing in Australia called tall-poppy syndrome. Have you heard of it? It's a pretty prevalent thing-they even teach it in school. Poppies are tall flowers, but they don't grow taller than the rest of the flowers, so there's a mentality in Australia where people are really happy for you to do well; you just can't do better than everyone else or they will cut you down to size."
Robbie went off script in the audition to slap DiCaprio hard across the face. And got the part.
"I remember watching American movies and TV shows growing up and thinking, Oh, God, these crazy characters doing these outlandish things, how do the writers come up with it? Then I moved to America and met so many people just like the people in the movies, and I realized, Oh, so this is just real life in America."
said, "When I think of Margot Robbie, a single word comes to mind, 'Audrey Hepburn'."
"Actually, I hadn't done a proper sex scene before. I'd done scenes where it's leading into sex or sex has just finished, but I hadn't done a start-to-finish sex scene like I did in Wolf. That was my first."
