Exam season calls for an article...
Because the human brain is a program with a random function generating emotions and thoughts - at it's own convenience.
Go on and I am sure, you can relate.
AND THAT is how you look at the question paper.
After reading everything you look around to see how everyone's doing. Despite your own misery, you find it amusing to watch people's attempts to arrange their thoughts. (Or trying to recall things they've never studied)
You're overwhelmed with the fear of writing it again next semester. So you choose to be in denial instead. You make yourself believe that you can make up some new theories right there.
When you finally realize you're struggling to make even an iota of sense.
When your friends look at you and you realize it isn't that bad because none of you are going to make it.
You might be surprised at just how much they receive.
And you think to yourself :
You come up with the best one liners, poems or even movie scripts while you're concentrating on the exam.
Congratulating yourself for it follows shortly after.
The next thing you know you're giving an acceptance speech in your head for winning a Grammy, Oscar, Emmy or just about anything.
What is life? What is death? Who created this universe and what is our purpose?
accompanied by some pride in making it this far in life.
When you're done writing and you realize you can forget this exam ever happened. Until the day of the results, of course.
while handing over your answer sheets.
Coming out of the exam hall to your friends like this.
