Parachuting, otherwise known as skydiving, is both exhilarating and terrifying. On one hand, you feel that you are on top of the world and that you can actually fly once you get out of the plane; on the other hand, you might just die horribly if your parachute does not work or you land in a terrible place.
But if you lose your parachute, can you handle the pressure and do the correct thing in order to survive? Check out what this awesome dude had to do when things did not go calm!
P.S. Don't miss to watch the video in the end!
Daniel Herndon lives in Edmond City, Oklahoma, and he has a pretty exciting job.
In fact, he is an AFF instructor, IAD Instructor, videographer, coach and Tandem Instructor in this company.
Daniel Herndon had to accomplish a demo jump with a reserve ride. He was doing this because he had a game ball with him.
He basically had to jump from the aircraft so that he could land a ball into a stadium packed with people who are eager to watch a game.
The jump was flawless, but the main parachute simply did not want to work along with Daniel Herndon.
After a couple of valuable seconds that could have meant life or death, Daniel was able to get the second parachute running.
Daniel knew that he was already relatively safe. He only had to come down safely at the stadium.
There was smoke to signal his arrival, and you could see the crowd waiting for him.
He landed gracefully and at the end of the day, it was just another day for him as a skydiver.
What do you guys think? Can you do the same? Share this with your family and friends!
