Climbing mountains is a passion, is a way of living and definitely not a publicity stunt. No one climbs the mountains just to get some publicity and praise from the media. But this couple, Dinesh and Tarakeshwai Rathod did everything to get the publicity and praise from the media, except climbing the mountain.
A few days ago, it was published by major international media houses that this couple has set a record of being the first Indian couple to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. The couple even told the journalist that they promised each other before their marriage that they will scale the Mt. Everest one day.
But the expert mountaineers around the globe have something else to say about this couple's "achievement." On one hand, this Rathod couple is releasing statements like "Our dream has been realized" while on the other hand, mountaineers who met them at the base camp of Mt. Everest are calling the entire story a hoax.
Let's find out.

In this picture, which was used by the internet media companies, the couple is wearing red colored gear.
Did they find any changing room up there?
Still, I'm not concluding something here.
But I want to add that if this couple didn't climb the Mt. Everest and did all these photoshop drama just to get the media attention and appraisal from Police Department, then shame on them. They humiliated their Police Department, their country and all those passionate mountaineers who lost their life to achieve something bigger than them.
I hope this Rathod couple climb the Mt. Everest for real one day.
