Cersei Lannister slayed 'em all. Yes, she set a wildfire in her own city, flambe-d her enemies, especially The High Sparrow and Margaery Tyrell. Of course, Lady Olenna was not present. Moreover, Grand Maester Pycelle was enticed by Qyburn's little birds to an ambush. Those little birds stabbed the old man to death.
Meanwhile, Lancel followed one of the bird down into the cellars beneath the High Sept -- into a room. It was filled with barrels of green liquid. The boy managed to cut Lancel on the back of the leg and crippled him. Lancel noticed lit candles at the end of the room. It was a crude time-bomb. The candles, hence, melted and caused a huge wildfire in green flames, engulfing the High Sparrow, Margaery Tyrell, Loras Tyrell, the Lord of Highgarden himself, and her own uncle Kevan Lannister, all in one murderous moment. (continued)
When he became beknownst to the wildfire, he committed suicide by diving off the window. Cersei won everything she ever wanted, but she lost all her children. She won and lost at the same time. Eventually, Jamie returned from Riverrun and watched Cersei being coronated.
The Red Wedding was one of the ultimate plot-twists in the history of Game of Thrones. Lord Frey was dining alone and a serving girl appeared and served him pies.
"Where are my sons?" the old man asks. "They're right here," the serving girl says, pointing to the pies.
The pies were filled with Lord Frey's sons. The girl peeled her face off and you guessed right, it was Arya Stark. Remember that bucket-list of people she wanted to murder? Well, you know the drill. She slit Frey's throat the same way he slitted her mother's.
"Promise me Ned. Promise me." Lyanna Stark to her brother Eddard, in the Tower of Joy.
Ned Stark climbed the stairs of the Tower of Joy and found Lyanna in the bed of blood. It was the blood of delivery, which went terribly wrong. Lyanna was dying of child-birth. She hands him the baby and pleaded to keep him away from Robert; as Robert would kill the child if it belonged to Lyanna and some other random person.
Bran was watching all of this from his vision. He didn't lean close but Lyanna whispered in Ned's ear,"His name is..." (we couldn't hear what the name was). The only reason the baby was in danger because Robert knew the baby belonged to Rhaegar Targaryen who was slayed by Robert in the Battle of Trident. This proves the 'R+L=J' theory. Jon is a Targaryen. (continued)
I don't think his name is Jon (they may reveal later, perhaps). But Jon is the true heir of the Iron Throne. Also, Littlefinger tried to seduce Sansa again. He'd a vision that he claims the Iron Throne with Sansa on her side. To that Sansa replied,"That's a pretty picture", and walked away. This time, Littlefinger's trick didn't worked out the way he expected it to.
Daenerys is all set to break the wheel. After Dothraki declared themselves as #TeamDany, she is finally heading to Westros. She severed all her ties with Daario and declared Tyrion, 'Hand of the Queen'.
So, this was the recap of the season finale of Game of Thrones. Yes, waiting for another bad months sounds terrifying as hell. But, it's guaranteed that it will engulf us again more intensly than ever. Would it be Jon v/s Dany v/s Cersei? Oh, I would love to see it. This is the Song of Ice and Fire.
