We all fancy a little or a lot of Disney all the time and it is not just a good hearty smile but cherishable wings these movies give to us. And with years passing by, Disney princesses have become more diverse. Remember the first time we had a princess hit the screen, that was Tiana in 2009 and the two feminist princesses Frozen and Brave enhancing the aura of being a princess.
Disney is now up with a new princess and she will be the first Latina princess to be called after Jasmine. The show is to be premiered in the US on the 22nd July, but there are no UK release dates as of yet.
The princess has been described as a young, bold, caring, funny and a clever descendant in the fairytale kingdom of Avalor. The show will incorporate a lot of Latin and Hispanic culture,"including their music, architecture, traditions, and food."
How many of you cannot wait for the show to begin? I can't. I have an itch in my heart, already.
